Our wraparound service provides a family strength-based approach which responds to children and young people who experience behaviour or mental health challenges within their lives. Our approach emphasises on placing the child and family at the centre of the care we provide and giving them the opportunity to be involved their care plan.
We aim to build on individual and family strengths to help families achieve positive goals and improve their overall well-being. The young person and their family work with us to build their wraparound team, which can include the family’s friends, school, and people from the wider community as well as providers of services and supports.

We will provide staff with a range of qualifications including nurses, health care assistants, teachers and social care workers. All staff will be Garda vetted and provided with the highest level of training. Staff are flexible and able to adapt and adjust to new roles and environments smoothly ensuring the induvial they are caring for is at the centre of their work. Our managers and people in charge will work closely with the linked organisations to ensure all rules and regulations are abided by within each work setting.
We work directly with a young person; building positive and supportive relationships with them and through this intervention empowering them to address their presenting needs and concerns. We will provide regular and consistent contact with the young person to encourage and promote positive relationship building and trust building. This will allow the young person to gain support whether that may be physically, emotionally etc. Our programme will also promote development and enhance life and social skills to each young person we work alongside. We will promote a person centred approach and build specific plans for each young person. We will take into account the likes and needs of the young person when facilitating activities e.g. visiting the zoo, arts and crafts, rock climbing and sports etc.
We will provide young people with a safe and supportive environment to meet with parents and siblings. We aim is to support the young person to maintain and develop a positive relationship between the pair, once this is in the best interest of the young person. This may be facilitated in a safe environment within the community or a suitable location e.g. a playground for sibling access. Alongside this we will also provide transportation to and from this access. Staff will promote trust and relationship building with the young person and provide them with a safe space to discuss their emotions and support them after these visits.
We aim to provide families with specific support tailored to their needs. We aim to promote the wellbeing of the family and educate and strengthen parents with skills to strengthen the parenting capacity. We believe early intervention is key to sustaining positive relationships within the family to help maintain children at home. We focus on the needs of the family and set achievable goals to help reach a positive outcome.
At Brighter Future we are aware that family access can be difficult for the young people. We provide transportation services to and from school, access, meetings. We aim to provide one key person to provide a young person with their transportation needs. Through daily interaction, we build up a professional relationship with the young person and through this intervention we can empower them to address their needs, concerns and help them to make the right decision.
At Brighter Future Ltd we are aware there are many issues in the community and society that young people face. The teen support programmes can be provided on a one to one or small group basis depending on the needs of the participants. Different programmes such as ‘RealU’ and ‘Connect Safely’, baking/ meal preparation, life skills programmes and arts and crafts are included. There will be an individualised plan drawn up for each young person based on their needs.
Each individual in our care will be provided with specialised support tailored to their needs. Residents will receive assistance with daily tasks, personal care and activities which aim to promote and develop their skills and independence. Residents will be encouraged to engage in community programmes such as Bounce Back and Foroige. Staff will encourage sensory engagement and aim to cater for a wide range of mild conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
